Was suppose to meet him for movie at 9.15pm

Went to buy tickets at about 12noon. But left only 1st row!!
So in the end we never go watch.
But lucky we never buy the tickets cuz he got no car until 9.30pm!
Till 9.30pm i'm still waiting, hoping to meet even for awhile,
but i felt so stupid, waiting for nothing.
In the end never meet..
Why am i always hoping and waiting when i know in the end its still disappointment.?
Why can't i just not let small things like not meeting him bother me and makes me sad?
